Leslie and I met in March of 2016 very randomly in an Uber Pool :) Our first date was at Macello on Lake St. in Fulton Market, Chicago. Hysterically, it was Friday and Leslie said "remember it's Lent and Friday so no meat"...to which I responded, "is this a good time to tell you I'm Jewish?"! Luckily, Macello was perfect with fabulous Pugliese Italian and seafood dishes. I did not want our first date to end and continued to take Leslie to some of Chicago's fun hot spots and enjoyed some fancy drinks until we closed the bars down. We quickly knew we were something very unique and special together! We discovered our passion for the outdoors, exploration, dining, good drinks, country music, traveling, dogs, and so much more in the coming days and weeks. I knew from the first few weeks that Leslie was the woman I was going to marry. We complement so much in each other and are even greater as the sum of our parts than as individuals (I know, hard to believe)! We are so very excited to be sharing this special time in our lives with the people we love the most! We are beyond thankful to those who have helped raise us, those who assisted us with becoming who we are today, those who continue to love, support, and grow with us! We love you all and we can't wait to see you at our wedding!
