Our journey together began in early 2023, when we crossed paths at a church event. At the time, neither of us was actively looking for anything romantic, but God had a different plan in mind—and we couldn’t be more grateful for it!

Mizael started working in the music department at Leslie’s church, which naturally created opportunities for us to interact. What started as casual conversations soon blossomed into a deep and meaningful friendship. As we spent more time together, we began to realize that we were exactly what each other had been praying for—and so much more.

For a while, neither of us knew how the other felt, but eventually, we had an honest conversation about our emotions. From that moment, we both committed to being intentional about our relationship, and it’s been an incredible journey ever since. We truly believe that God’s grace and love have been guiding us every step of the way, from the very beginning of our story to where we are now.

On October 18, Mizael asked Leslie to be his forever. It was a moment we’ll cherish forever, and we are filled with gratitude for all the people who have shaped us into who we are today. Our relationship is a testament to the unwavering support and love we've received from our family, friends, and church.
