
Uncover waterfront views of Austin's skyline as you take to Lady Bird Lake in a tandem kayak. Paddle between views of the Frost Bank Tower and the W Hotel, learn about the city's most iconic buildings, and enjoy an active day out on the water on this fun-filled adventure.
Team up with your guide on the shores of Lady Bird Lake, created where the Colorado River meets the Longhorn Dam. Take a few minutes to go over basic paddling techniques, and then hop in the seat of a tandem kayak to push off from shore with your partner.
Set your sights on Austin's skyline, rising up behind the wooded shores of Lady Bird Lake. Learn about the construction of the Frost Bank Tower, the first skyscraper built in the US after 9/11, check out the gleaming facade of The Austonian, and look for One Congress Plaza's staircase-like top. Snap photos of your favorite buildings, keep your eyes peeled for area wildlife including snapper turtles, and get tips from your guide on other places to check out on the lake before you head back to your starting point.

What to Expect: Every tour meets outside of the Austin Visitor Center, (602 E 4th Street, Austin TX 78701). Next, we'll head to 3 local breweries where you'll learn a bit about the Austin brewing scene, sample tasty beers, and most likely walk away with a little Texas pride. After the last brewery stop, we'll head back to the Austin Visitor Center. Please arrange a sober ride home, our tour guide will gladly assist you in arranging a sober ride home, there are several ride sharing apps available plus traditional cabs.
