Brenda is my older sister/mentor. I could not imagine her not being by my side on my wedding day. Brenda is the best person to be my matron of honor, and I was able to stand by her side on her wedding day, and now she gets to repay that lol. My sister means everything to me, and for her to be involved at my wedding is an amazing feelings. Love you B.

Christian is my older brother, I can’t imagine how my life would look without my big bro at my side, more than that he is one of my best friends, my brother was also one of the first family members of mine to really meet Leslie.

Dianna is my baby sister. It makes me super emotional knowing she is old enough to be a bridesmaid, and watch me walk down the isle. I cannot express how much love I have for my little sis, and it makes me emotional knowing Sam has known Dianna for more than half of her life. She is for sure a special one to both of us. Love you D.

Trevor is my best friend we met on the school bus when we were 15, I couldn’t imagine my wedding day without my best friend there. Trevor and I have both seen each other grow from boys to men. He has seen the good and the bad that came with being my friend. Trevor is someone who means a lot to Leslie and I seeing as he has seen our relationship grow since sophomore year of high school.

Jessie is my sister in law who I am so happy to have gotten super close to. Jessie and I share so many interests, from cups, to perfumes, to random things we both find online. Jessie is a great mom to her two boys, and has shown me what kind of a mom I want to be. Jessie has had a huge affect in my life, and I cannot wait to Marry her brother. Love you Jess.

Daniel is my older step brother, he came into my life when I was 7 years old, from the start we had a bond that was very strong and hasn’t wavered since. It feels like we were always brothers and I can’t picture my life without him in it.

Julie is my cousin who I could not imagine not being with me on my special day. Julie has watched me grow up and seen me turn into the person I am today. She is my confidant and my person. Although she’s my cousin, she is a big sister to me and I love her dearly.

Adrian is Leslie’s cousin but more than that he is someone I look up to. Although we are the same age, Adrian has always felt like someone I could talk to about any issues I have going on. I have seen how caring he is for his siblings, and how much of an amazing bond him and Leslie have seeing as though they are only one month apart. I am so thankful that I am getting another brother and that it happens to be Adrian.

Andrea is my baby cousin and someone who means a lot to me. Not only is Drea my little cousin, but she is also my little sister. Andrea is always my model when it comes to makeup, lashes, and hair. I am so beyond thankful for her, and am more happy that she gets to stand by my side the day of my wedding.

Andy is Leslie’s younger cousin but he has always felt more like a little brother to me, I’ve watched him grow up into a hardworking and smart young man, Andy is one of the most charismatic and light hearted people I know and I couldn’t picture my special day without him!

Briana is my cousin who has been another big sister to me. Not many people know this, but Bree lived with us for some time and her and I became super close in that time that she did. I am super thankful that she will be there with my on my special day. Love you Bree!

Jairo is Leslie’s and my soon to be brother-in-law, during COVID I saw him almost every single day, and he became a regular part of my life, he is someone I look up to and a person means a lot to me, I’m so happy he will be there with me on this special day.

Nancy has been one of my best friends since we were in Elementary school. Nancy and I would spend countless days together growing up, playing catch with her softballs, and eating hot cheetos every Friday. Nancy has been a huge rock in my life and is now standing by my side on my big day.

Andrew is someone who I have recently grown super close to. Not only is he a good friend but also a great role model. Andrew has the best sense of humor and brings joy and light into any room he walks into. I have known Andrew since middle school, and he has been there since day one with Leslie and I. He has seen the bad and good that we have gone through. I could not imagine Andrew not being one of my groomsman.

Alexay is another one of my childhood best friends. I was able to stand by her side on her wedding day and now she’s by mine. She was the first person to give me the title of Aunt/Godmother, and I love her little one so much. We talked about getting married since we were kids and now here we are.

Emilio is one of my oldest friends, I’ve known him since we were 12 years old, I can’t even begin to count the amount of times we have been rolling over laughing and enjoying life, he has been there for me like a brother so many times and I look forward to having him as my groomsmen.

To Edson: We wanted to write a little thank you and appreciation post for Edson. Sam and I could not have thought of a more perfect fit for our officiant. Edson marrying us is an honor, and we are so thankful to have someone like Edson in our lives. SO again, from the bottom of our hearts, we love you Edson. Thank you! -Les & Sam
