What can I say about how Bumble Babe, I mean Leslie (we will get to that nickname soon if you don't already know it) and I, met that you probably don't already know?

Leslie and I first started talking April 4th, 2021 (Easter Sunday). We found each other in the most unexpected way. A way so uncommon of meeting new people. Online. But not just online as in chatting in chat room or forum or a thread. No, we met on a very small dating app called Bumble, hence the nickname "Bumble Babe". Basically, Leslie swiped right on me, then I swiped right on Leslie, creating a match between 2 people who were not looking for anything serious.

We chatted everyday. Soon we had our first date. I took her bowling. Of course, being the gentleman that I am, I proceeded to win (that's my story although there is no evidence of this).

After our first date, we were inseparable. We always found ways to spend time together. Leslie even went to my hockey games on Monday nights which led to her going with me to a tournament in Tampa.

We had our first trip together the weekend of my hockey tournament. I asked Leslie to be my girlfriend. She said yes. :)

A little while after that, we were on Disappearing Island where I told Leslie "I'm falling in love with you."

Since then, we have spent many happy days together. We have taken multiple family and couple's vacations. Now it is time for me to "pop the question".

We had a nice dinner date at Colorado Fondue. I had planned to propose while walking around Oviedo on the Park. After dinner, I had to convince Leslie to go for a walk since there was a light drizzle. I had planned for someone to record video under the lights on a small pavilion on the water. I got down on one knee and she said yes.

The rest is history and the future is why we want you to enjoy this special day with us.
