Lesly and Jonathan met in 2011 at Mater Lakes Academy High School (Go Bears!), during their shared math class with Mr. Lorenzo in room 240. He was a sophomore and she was a freshman. Through their friends, Giancarlo, and James they became closer and developed a friendship that lasted a DECADE before they started to date!

Bride: "My earliest memory of Jonathan is him pushed to the far left side of our Math Class. He is a math genius so he would finish his work fast, turn it in, and immediately get to playing Magic the Gathering in the corner with our friends. I can still clearly picture him as he was when we were teens in that corner dealing cards in his grey Hardrock Casino Hoodie, with his shaggy hair and barely growing a beard yet. We were both into completely different things, he was in Mu Alpha Theta and loved dabbling in Chemistry and I was the President of the Drama Club, watching Glee and singing in the choir. Who would have thought we'd become best friends than lovers, and now husband and wife?!"

Groom: "The year was 2011. I was a nerd. She was a theatre kid. I liked magic. She liked Glee. Nobody would've called it. And yet all it took was 1 look... for one of us... 10 years for the other one but hey we got here in the end. Those 10 years were amazing years of friendship and getting to know each other so I can't be mad about it. Whoops maybe I shouldn't have said who was who. Anyways..."
