Our Wedding

Michael and Leticia met via Upward, a dating app for Christians. Right from the start, conversation was easy with the two bonding over their love for Jesus, family, and Minecraft. Over 180 miles away from each other, there were many nights of Facetimes and phone calls while Leticia was also doing her first year of medical school. A pivotal moment in their relationship was a road trip down to Florida where Michael joined Leticia's family. A few months later, Leticia joined Michael's family on a relatively short trip to Seattle. The two love to travel and have grown close with each other's families. Michael proposed during a walk along the Mississippi River after a trip to the Farmer's Market where the two had their first date. Leticia was astounded at the incredible number of pelicans on the river when Michael knelt down and proposed with a beautiful green ring. Their relationship has been a tremendous blessing from the Lord. With both having a secured identity in Christ, the two have sought to honor God throughout their lives and hope to continue doing so in their marriage. They're looking forward to celebrating the next chapter of their lives with friends and family in November!
