Tyler and Levi met while on Coast Guard orders in Alameda, CA. Even though they have different recollections on how their first encounter actually unfolded (Levi's story is obviously the accurate one), they both agree that there was an immediate connection. It did not take long for both of them to fall in love and know that they were meant for one another.

Since they met, they have greatly enjoyed the trips they have taken together to Tanzania, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Panama, Belgium, France, Spain, Canada, and Mexico. They have a long list of countries they want to travel to and are excited to be able to check each and every one off their list together as best friends, lovers, husbands, forever annoying each other until one of them throws the other off the mountain they will be hiking.
