Our first trip together to Corpus Christi!
2 trips in one year! What a blast it was to drive down 35 to Waco, Austin, San Antonio and Fredericksburg all in one weekend with my brother, sister-in-law and nieces.

Levi was able to experience his first Rodriguez halloween party!!! One thing we love to do is throw a halloween party and you know we're going to dress up.

Our 1st anniversary (and Levi's 23rd birthday) was spent in Broken Bow, OK. Of course, we had to do a quick pit stop in Paris to take a picture with the mini cowboy hat on top of the Eiffel tower.

Our 1st trip to Mexico! What you can't tell from this picture is Levi basically having a heart attack because he hates heights and I had to keep warning our tour guides to take it easy on him during the zip lines so they don't actually cause a heart attack. This is the trip Levi made me realize how much I love to be a beach bum (and my love for all-inclusives)

Forever my favorite wedding date. Small roadtrip to a wedding in Oklahoma! Beautiful scenery! Side story: Levi had worked overnight and we left that morning to make it to the wedding at noon. I drove a good portion and Levi knows I love a good crunchy snack on roadtrips (mainly hot cheetos) but I didn't want my fingers to be stained so he fed them to me while I drove. What a keeper.

The first time we wen to the fair, we realized that all beers were super expensive.....and then with our last 6 tickets, we came across a cheap beer garden serving PBR for 3 tickets (vs 4-6 tickets for the other stands) and ever since then, we always go to that beer stand when we go the fair.

Levi knows how much I love pumpkin patches and we found the smallest one near McKinney. They had a maze that we both could see over (and if we're being honest, see through because it really wasn't a hay maze at all) but we made it fun and left with sweet tea, popcorn and a pumpkin!

This was the first time my parents met Levi's parents at restaurant in Addison called La Ventana (you should try it, it's good). The first thing my dad asked Levi in front of his parents was "when are you going to marry my daughter?" Look at us now!!!

2nd halloween party Levi attended. He was a pirate this year but wasn't dressed up at the party. 2nd halloween party Levi attended. He was a pirate this year but wasn't dressed up at the party. I will say though, my brother had a blast with Levi that night because we all went trick-or-treating and Levi had never been. Please, if Levi knocks on your door for candy...open the door or he'll stand there yelling at you for leaving your porch light on.
Our 1st and probably last A-frame airbnb down near Marble Falls. We are way too tall for A-frames but it was an experience for sure. We went down there to celebrate my birthday and also my acceptance to PA school (wasn't the plan but I had received the call on the 21st so it was fitting)

One thing about Levi is that he's going to give you a history lesson. He is so knowledgeable and I probably would've paid attention in history class if he taught it!! Ha! So with that being said, Levi of course gave me a history lesson about the medieval times so of course, I had to take him for his birthday! It was a little delayed because of his work schedule but we were finally able to go! Better late than never!

We went on a roadtrip to Colorado 2 weeks before Palma started PA school. We stayed at this cool castle in Colorado springs and Palma realized she's terrified of turkeys that are just a little too comfortable getting close to you without being spooked. We also ended a hike early because we had a stare down with a deer.

Once again, my favorite wedding date. This was the trip that Palma learned the phrase "you can watch your dog run away for a week." We went to Levelland, TX! Of course, had to make a pitstop in Lubbock to have some Spankys!!

Our Story:

Our story began through our iPhones. Our friends spoke highly of dating apps and we would like to give a big thanks to Bumble for bringing us together. We bonded over reading, specifically a book called "The Man Who Touched His Own Heart" by Robb Dunn. So much that Palma went out and bought it and now we have 2 copies of this book in our home. Fast forward to Christmas day, Levi asks "Can my gift for Christmas be your phone number?" and here we are. 3 years later and we've adored each other ever since.
