For those who have lots of questions, please have a read of our FAQ section below.
Where is the venue?
Our venue is Fort George, situated on Vis Island. This island is smaller and more unspoiled, especially when compared to well-known destinations like Hvar. We hope you’ll love it as much as we do!
Where can I RSVP?
Please RSVP for the Friday & Wedding event via the website. Please submit by the 16th February 2026.
What is the dress code for the wedding?
The dress code is Black Tie.
Men are required to wear black or navy tuxedos (no day suits). Women should wear formal summer dresses. Smart shoes are a must.
When does the wedding end?
The wedding will officially end at 2 AM, and we'd love for everyone to stay and celebrate with us until the very end!
If your children are invited, please make arrangements for childcare in the evening so you can fully enjoy the party and stay with us until the celebration wraps up.
When do you recommend us to fly?
We would advise all guests to fly on Thursday 25th June 2026. This will ensure you can fly into Split, get a ferry to Vis, settle in and enjoy drinks on the Friday.
If this is not possible, please let us know.
What flights should I book?
Airlines have now released dates for June 2026 so get booking. There are regular flights to Split from LHR and Gatwick, with occasional flights from Birmingham and Bristol.
Do you have a list of accommodation recommendations?
Yes, we’ll share a list of accommodation options in the coming months. In the meantime, we recommend checking Airbnb, as it offers more variety than hotels.
Please keep in mind staying in Vis town is the most convenient as it will be closest to the venue and restaurants (5 minute drive). If you want to stay outside Vis town, we would recommend hiring a car as taxis on the island can be expensive.
What ferry should I book?
Ferry Option 1: Krilo
https://www.krilo.hr/en/
This is the fastest ferry to Vis, with a travel time of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. We recommend booking with Krilo whenever possible due to the shorter journey. A full schedule of ferry times is available on their website. If you are flying into Split between Monday and Thursday, this option generally makes the most sense.
Ferry Option 2: Jadrolinija
https://shop.jadrolinija.hr/shop/
Jadrolinija operates ferries more frequently, though journeys are typically longer. If you are flying in on Friday, we recommend taking the 3:30 PM ferry, which arrives in Vis at 6:20 PM.
Do you have more details on what will happen on the Friday night?
Join us for welcome drinks & canapés at Val Restaurant 2.0 along the harbour in Vis Town. Expect sunset views, great music, and a relaxed evening together as we kick off the celebrations. All guests should wear a blue-themed outfit (any shade of blue!).
What is the dress code for the Friday night?
Men are requested to wear shirts (linen is fine) paired with smart trousers and shoes. Female guests are welcome to wear summer dresses with heels or elegant flat shoes.
Are children invited?
Your invitations will indicate whether your children are invited.
If they are, we kindly ask that you arrange childcare for the evening so you can fully enjoy the party with us (we'll be celebrating until 2AM!). We’d love for you to be able to join in the fun!
Will transport be provided to the Fort George?
We will be organising buses from the Vis Town port to take guests to the Fort before the wedding. After the celebration, multiple buses will be running throughout the evening to transport guests back to the port in Vis Town.
What food will be provided?
Yes, we’ll be serving a 3-course dinner, along with some late-night snacks, so you’ll be well-fed throughout the evening!
Can I take photos at the wedding?
We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, as we’ll be having an unplugged experience. We have a photographer and videographer to capture the special moments.
*Please wait for Lily to share any photos before posting anything on social media.
What if I have a dietary restriction?
Please mention any dietary requirements on your RSVP, and we'll ensure you're properly catered for.
What If I need a taxi whilst on the island?
Please use Duli Taxi service & WhatsApp them on +385 91 171 1354.
