Lexi and Preston met during orientation at Belmont University. They were in the same group!

Preston and Lexi dated all through college. He majored in Production Design and she majored in Acting. They worked on. many projects together and had the same on campus job.

Preston and Lexi moved to Austin after graduation where they lived for one year. This is when they got their first dog, Roo.
