1st met in Ames, Iowa. As far as who introduced us is left to be battled out between Trevor & Nikki Paulson (brother & sister of the bride). Don't let Austin fool you, he's a huge Husker fan.

Re-connected in Lincoln, Nebraska 2 years after ... went on 1st date that same month in Ames, Iowa. Bowling & Mexican with our good friends to this day, Lincoln & Olivia Rodenburg. Began dating from this weekend on.

1st trip together. Attempted to attend a Cubs game at Wrigley in Chicago, however, due to extreme weather conditions (hail AND snow), we settled for pizza and TopGolf instead.

1st vacation to Hawai'i together to see if we could see ourselves making the move here. Shocker, we could.

Moved to Hawai'i together, jobless and with only one suitcase & a backpack each. We planned to only stay for a year... 5 years later Hawai'i can't seem to get rid of us.

Took home our 1st baby together, Javy. Who has challenged us in many ways but brought us closer together. (Named after Javier Baez, a previous Cubs baseball player).

Enjoying the island life together. Despite being far from family, moving to this beautiful 'aina (land) has been the best decision we have made together so far.

Proposal!! Our 1st international trip together. We travelled to Australia, then to Bali, and ended in Tokyo before heading back to Honolulu. Little did I know, at 7AM on our 2nd day in Bali, we would become ENGAGED in one of the most beautiful places in the world :)
