Our story:

Michael and I met in middle school, where we were never close friends, but were always in the same friend group. We then moved on to high school, where we still didn't talk, yet still had all the same close friends. It wasn't until senior year of high school, where one of his best friends forced him to talk to me, even though he knew I had liked him for awhile. We finally went on our first date to sushi (because sushi is my favorite food) and he was painfully shy. I didn't find out till a couple YEARS later that he actually hated sushi and sucked it up because he knew I liked it so much. We graduated high school and then he asked me to be his girlfriend a couple weeks later. After high school, Michael went on to college at Pacific University and I went to Oregon State University. We did distance for 4 years and decided after many trips back and forth to each others colleges, that we didn't want to do distance after graduating. We then moved back to Portland for a year, before making the big move to Missoula, MT, so that Michael could get his doctorate in Physical Therapy. We absolutely love Missoula, as we hope to stay here for awhile. We have recently added a little bundle of joy (Rae-our female black lab) to our family and hopefully she calms down enough to be able to walk down the aisle soon. It's been 7 years together and we can't wait to make it forever :)
