Whether they like to admit it or not, Wade and Lexi met at a bar. It was the night of October 13, 2018 and both headed to Chelsea Corner in uptown Dallas. Neither expected what was in store for them that night. Wade went with two buddies to show them a good time, and Lexi went to meet another guy for a first date. When Lexi entered the bar, she caught Wade’s eye immediately. The two locked eyes and immediately felt a unique connection. Wade was the first to speak and asked Lexi what her name was. His next question was “Are you here with anybody?” Unfortunately she was, so they both parted ways, and that was the end of that...or so they thought.

Wade went out back to hang with friends, and Lexi went on to meet her date. It didn’t take long for Lexi to realize the guy was not someone she was interested in. She checked her watch, ready to leave, and disappointed with how the night had turned out. She made her way towards the exit and ran into Wade once again. He immediately asked, “Where’s your guy?” Lexi rolled her eyes and laughed, “He’s not my guy.” Lexi and Wade talked and laughed with one another for the rest of the night. Before they knew it, it was 2am and the bar was closing. Both went home that night with a smile, pleasantly surprised the night had taken an unexpected turn. Little did they know their lives would be forever changed!

The next day, Wade asked Lexi on a date to HG Supply. Just like the previous night, the conversation was easy, genuine, honest and so enjoyable! The more they learned about one another, the more they liked...

Because of their opposite work schedules, the two scheduled coffee dates over the next few weeks, so they could continue seeing each other. The 7:00am dates made it obvious they couldn’t keep themselves from spending time together. At this point they weren’t exclusive, but Wade was determined to make it happen.

On a Friday in late October, Wade invited Lexi to a Randy Rodgers concert at Southern Junction. The two danced and sang all night, and had the best time with one another. This was a turning point, and both realized they wanted to give the relationship a fair shot. A week later, Wade asked Lexi to make it official, and Lexi happily said yes.

From then on, Lexi and Wade have been inseparable. Their love continues to grow as they learn to do life together. On December 26th, 2019, Wade decided to propose at Park City Club in Dallas, Texas. Wade chose to do it in front of their families, and it was so special. Both are excited to start their lives together in 2020!
