Our Wedding

It was early in the pandemic (Fall of 2020), and we were early in our graduate school careers - Lexi was in her first year, Aaron in his third year. COVID-19 cases were starting to hit 100,000 cases per day, so meeting new people in person wasn't much of a viable option. Thus, we turned to dating apps. Despite its questionable reputation, we both downloaded Tinder to search for that special someone. Luckily enough, we found each other! By sending daily novella-length messages, we quickly learned a lot about each other and found that we had a lot in common besides just both being graduate students. We had a couple movie "dates" through Zoom and eventually met in person and continued to learn more and more about each other. Like any couple, we had our ups and downs, but ultimately, we fell in love after countless rock climbing sessions, tv show and movie binges, and date nights. Fast forward 3 years, and we decided to move in together! Shortly after this, we got Luna (the most stubborn, friendly, beautiful dog) and then Izzie (our crazy, borderline-psychotic but adorable kitty). And now, here we are - ready to tie the knot and excited to see where life takes us post-wedding!
