The closest photo to when Steven and I actually met the first time. We met for the first time back in 2013 because of our diabetes. He had shown up to a support group meeting and I welcomed him into the diabetes family. A little over 2 years later Steven asked me to be his girlfriend, March 19, 2015.

Even though there were many memories from the beginning of our relationship, one of the best times our first time dating, we went to Steven's senior prom. We had an amazing night dancing and laughing. I bonded with him and his friends.

Steven's high school graduation party was a success being his girlfriend. Shortly after this event, we parted ways. We never knew that we would end up together again, until 5 years later.

Our paths had crossed once again beginning of January very briefly, but our love for each other had never died. February 27, 2020 at the Nevada Diabetes Associations Annual Winter Wonderland, we knew that we were meant to be together again.

Finally on April 16, 2020, Steven asked me to be his girlfriend for the 2nd time! I never thought that this would happen, but I am so glad that it came back around.

On December 18th, Steven took me out to take some cute photos. Little did I know, but I turned around and he was proposing! One of the easiest "yes'" I have said in my life.
