LEXI VERISON:

Tyler and I met during our sophomore year of high school. But we'd known each other before that. At the start of sophomore year, one of my best friends developed feelings for Tyler's best friend. We decided one day to hang out as a group. Tyler, as I recall, did not want to hang out with me; I believe his exact words were "Why are we hanging out with Lexi Lemberger?" But, he eventually gave in, and we all hung out. The first time we all got together was to watch his friend play hockey. I had to pick Tyler and my friend up from their home. We hadn't hung out before, so it felt strange. When we arrived at the game, we all sat together. I recall wanting to snap a picture with Tyler, but he refused and wouldn't look at the camera (but I eventually got one). We drove together after the game to my house for pizza. After a couple of times hanging out alone, we decided to take a step forward and become girlfriend and boyfriend. We went on our first date at Culver's, and the rest is history.

As you can see, our love for each other will live on forever!

TYLER VERISON:

It all started at New Berlin Eisenhower. We were both in the 10th grade (16 years old). We knew each other but never really had a conversation. As the new school year started, I noticed she was in most of my classes, especially my study hall. This is where I got to know the love of my life (which I didn’t know at the time). Each day we talked more and more, and I realized that she was the complete opposite of me, which intrigued me. At the time, my only true friend was Jason Cooke; he was also in most of my classes. So one day Jason looked at me and said, "Let's go to Lexi Lemberger's house.” I said, “I really don’t know her that well. The conversation kept going back and forth, and I finally agreed to go to Lexi's house. That’s where everything changed! Jason, Payton, Lexi, and I would hang out every weekend together and eat pizza in Lemberger's basement. As time progressed, we started to hang out alone. I realized after the first time we hung out alone that one day I would make her my wife. One day we were hanging out at my house, and at this point I wanted Lexi to be my girlfriend. I didn’t know if she liked me back, but I should have known because she only wanted to hang out with me. I was fed up with waiting, so I took a deep breath and asked if she liked me. She was hesitant because she didn’t know if I liked her back too, but eventually, she fessed up and said yes. The rest, as they say, is history. We truly have a love story that everyone wishes for, and I’m happy to be a part of the best thing that has ever happened to me. Seven years later, and we are still together with that same love!
