Corey and Lexi met through a chance encounter in a bean field during harvest. The two became closer in their eighth grade Language Arts class.

After dating their freshman year of high school, the two remained friends throughout high school and college.

Almost a decade after they dated in high school, Corey asked Lexi to be his girlfriend.

Lexi finally wrapped up her collegiate journey at Western Illinois University.

And so did Corey!

The two enjoyed many wonderful adventures and trips, including Corey's first visit to the ocean.

The couple learned that they would be welcoming a baby boy in July of 2023.

They eagerly awaited their sweet boy's arrival.

At 6:29 PM, they welcomed their pride and joy, Asher Grey.

On Thanksgiving day, Corey (finally!) asked Lexi to marry him.
