A tale as old as time... Lexi and Josh first met through their Mock Rock team at Biola. Going into her last semester of college, Lexi was not thinking about starting a relationship, especially with a freshman! (Don't worry, they're only 11 months apart in age). Thinking it was safe to at least be friends, Josh and Lexi started hanging out -- a lot. Like everyday. All day. All semester. So obviously, one thing led to another and they ended up at the Spring Formal dancing together, and then InCahoots dancing together, and then Disneyland holding hands. But they were still "just friends." hmmm, ya ok.

Fast forward to May, Lexi graduates and Josh moves home to the valley, but they keep talking everyday. Will either of them ever get the chance to tell the other how they feel now that they don't go to school together?? Well, good thing they have a friend roadtrip coming up! Lexi and Josh head up to Yosemite with a group of friends, and finally, she sits him down and asks, "Do you have feelings for me???" The cat is out of the bag. Josh has to tell her that yes, he does in fact have feelings and he would very much like to date her. But Lexi wasn't ready for THAT. So she tells him they need to take it slow, and he agrees. For about 24 hours. Because the next day he lets her know that he is ready to date her and asks her out again, only for her to say no -- we need to go eeevveeennnn slower.

Fast forward 2 weeks, Josh comes to visit Lexi, meets her family and best friends, everyone loves him, and Lexi is finallllyyy ready to make it official. They head to Duke's in Huntington to have their first official date as a couple.

Over the next year, they navigate long distance and build the most beautiful relationship with Jesus Christ as the cornerstone. On July 29th, Josh popped the question on the beach in La Jolla (after Lexi almost ruined it about 100 times) and the rest is history!!! NOW THEY'RE GETTING MARRIEDDDDD!!!!! WOOHOO!!
