Tyler and Lexi met in 2003 when they had the same 1st grade teacher, Mrs. Balzano, at Broadneck Elementary School. Despite Lexi moving to West Virginia at the start of middle school, they remained friends and intermittently kept in touch over the years. After many months of really getting to know each other starting in 2019, then getting through the shutdown during COVID, they finally started dating in May 2020.
