Although Christopher and Lexi went to the same middle school and high school, they never really knew each other until the summer between sophomore and junior year. Christopher actually had no idea who Lexi was. They met at the racetrack (Wisconsin International Raceway) in the snack shack. Lexi and Christopher started dating on October 18th, 2018.

On May 20th, 2023, Lexi and Christopher took her parent's dog, Nyeusi, for a walk in the morning, and of course, Lexi stopped at her favorite huge oak tree on a hill that overlooked the creek. When Lexi stopped at the tree to look from the top of the hill, Christopher knelt down on one knee behind her and asked Lexi to marry him. When Lexi turned around, she was shocked. Lexi and Christopher have now been together for almost 6 years.
