How it started...

Ryan and Lexi met at Oklahoma State University during the Fall of 2013. He was living in Village E (one of the dorms on campus) and Lexi was always over visiting her friend Kaitlin, who lived on the same floor as him. When he saw Lexi, he started calling her "the tall pretty girl" who would visit Kaitlin and when Lexi first saw Ryan, she thought he was the old guy living on the dorm floor! The two of them didn't officially meet, let alone start talking to one another until December 7th 2013... It was the annual Oklahoma State v. Oklahoma football game and OSU had just lost against OU. Lexi had left the game before it ended to attend Kaitlin's birthday celebration. Ryan came by Kaitlin's door to invite them to a party and that's when the two of them met! Ryan went off to his party and Lexi had stayed with her friends. The next morning, Ryan and Lexi saw each other in the lounge area of the dorm floor and decided to sit and chat! They ordered chipotle and talked and talked for hours and the rest is history!

The Proposal

In March of 2021, Ryan and Lexi had the opportunity to travel to the Caribbean island of St. Thomas with Lexi's family. They had travelled here prior, in 2016 with a group of college friends and fell in love with the island. Shortly before the trip in 2021, Ryan acquired a specific ring, unbeknownst to almost everyone. He knew he wanted to ask Lexi to marry him during the trip, but did not know when. One evening, the entire group was heading down to take family pictures during the sunset. Before most of the family had gotten down to the beach, Lexi and Ryan were down taking test pictures with Lexi's sister and her boyfriend (Kryssy and Nate). Ryan asked Kryssy to go take Lexi to take a sisters picture facing the ocean. Ryan told Nate to get ready to snap some pictures and got down on one knee behind the girls. We don't think it took Lexi long to understand what was going on, she had been expecting this day for a while now, after all. When Ryan asked the big question, Lexi replied “No.” Ryan said “okay,” left, and here we are... kidding. Ryan asked again with a “please” and Lexi said “Yes!”

Krystyna is Lexi's younger sister. Being 5 years apart in age wasn't always the easiest but they know they can always count on each other. I can think of no better person to keep everyone in line on my behalf throughout this whole process! If you see her at the wedding trying to sneak cats in, call security.

Amanda is Lexi's childhood best friend. They've been soulmates since they were 3 years old! In September of 2020, Lexi stood by Amanda as she married the love of her life and now she gets to do the same for Lexi! You will definitely find Amanda on the dance floor doing her signature dance move!

Amanda Moore

Mallory is Lexi's college best friend and former college roommate for 2 years while at OSU! They graduated from the same program together and after graduation Mallory moved to Dallas, where she has become an honorary Urbanczyk!

Mallory Mayberry

Chelsea is Lexi's non-biological big sister! She is Amanda's older sister, so the 4 girls (Chelsea, Amanda, Lexi and Krystyna) grew up together. Chelsea has always been a big sister to Lexi and is so happy she gets to stand by her side on her day! If you get the opportunity to converse with Chelsea make sure you ask her about her dogs!

Emma is Lexi's closest friend in Wichita! They met through their fiancé's and the two of them have bonded over all the Netflix shows, craft beer and Target! Lexi can't imagine the day without her, unless she's smuggling cats in with Krystyna.

Julie is Lexi's sorority big sister. They met when Julie came to OSU to help recruit for Alpha Xi Delta, since OSU was re-opening the old chapter. It wasn't a normal thing to have a big/little combo from 2 separate universities but the day Julie and Lexi met, they knew they were destined to be in each other's lives.

Jordan is Ryan's cousin from Albuquerque. Jordan & Lexi have gotten to know each other well over the past 7 years since Lexi and Ryan started dating. She is like a sister to Ryan and Lexi can't wait to (officially) be family with her! If there was a pool at the venue, I'd pay to see you try and race Jordan.

Shelby is Lexi's youngest cousin and is like another little sister to her. Lexi is so excited for her to be apart of their special day! At the reception, she'll be the one filming Tik Tok's in the middle of dinner!

Lauren & Lexi went to OSU, were in the same program and lived together their Junior & Senior years of college with Mallory! Lauren loves Harry Potter and cooking. Back in college, Mallory and Lauren taught Lexi all she needed to know about makeup and started her makeup addiction. Lexi can think of no better person than to do a reading at her wedding to Ryan. If allowed, Lauren could probably be found behind the bar serving up some drinks!

Michelle & Lexi met through Ryan in 2017 when the two of them were working together at Textron Aviation. Michelle has quickly become one of Lexi's closest friends in Wichita. Michelle is someone who will always be there for you no matter what. Lexi is so excited for Michelle to be apart of her "house party" on her big day! If you see Michelle, make sure you ask her to see pictures of her puppy Murph- the Bernadoodle!

The Boys

Kyle and Ryan have been best friends for the past 12ish years. They met in Albuquerque and went to college together at OSU, rooming together for a year. Kyle and Ryan uniquely bond over their love of not doing anything and being introverted. In an apocalyptic scenario, or if they just get really tired of their jobs one day, you can find them in the woods of Canada or Alaska in a log cabin smoking cigars, drinking bourbon, and grilling steaks. 

Kyle Cunningham

Tyler and Ryan met in their sophomore year college living in "The Villages". They quickly forged a friendship based upon relentless battles of FIFA in their dorm rooms, much to the dismay of everyone who lived around them. While living together their senior year, they definitely did not get noise complaints or in trouble with RA's at all. Tyler and Ryan share a passion for the aviation industry, sports, and adult beverages.

Brendon is Lexi's younger brother. He and Ryan have become close throughout the years through a mutual love of cars, video games, and alcohol. If you need to find Brendon at the wedding, just look for the guy that looks like a model at the bar.

Jake is one of Ryan's closest friends in Wichita, they met while living at the same apartment complex when they both moved to ICT. Ryan has spent countless Saturday and Sundays on Jakes couch watching football, eating chicken wings, and drinking delicious beverages. If at any point you cannot find Jake & Ryan, check the bar.

Jacob Neyens

Meach and Ryan met through Meach's better half Michelle. While it was difficult to get Meach to hang out at first, you can now consistently find Ryan (along with Neyens) at Meach's basement bar (The Pub). Ryan even has garage door access on his phone! If you see Meach during the festivities, be sure to ask him about how small his basement TV is.

Demetrias Jones (aka Meach)

Vince is Ryan's older cousin, hailing from Mora, NM. Vince is credited for Ryan's early passion for video games, even though Vince routinely humiliated Ryan in Mortal Kombat as a child. Some of Ryan's best memories come from spending time with Vince in the northern New Mexico mountains riding 4-wheelers and staying up until dawn playing video games.

Vince Coffey

Matt is one of Ryan's closest friends in Wichita, meeting through a mutual friend not long after they both moved to Wichita. Matt and Ryan share a love for everything aviation and consistently send each other exciting aircraft they find flying around the country on FlightRadar. Additionally, Matt and Ryan share an interest in the outdoors, although Matt actually goes and does things outside. One of their favorite things to do is watch Alone together and discuss how they could definitely survive alone in the wilderness.

Q and Ryan met through a mutual friend while living in Wichita. Q is an avid Iowa State fan and has somehow made this list of groomsmen. If Q and Ryan are not playing video games, you can find them on the golf course drinking beer or at a brewery, also drinking beer. 

Quentin Fowler (aka Q)

Patrick and Ryan met a long time ago in Albuquerque. Just a few of the highlights from their friendship include Patrick introducing Ryan to trout fishing (Ryan ended up killing many trout because he had no idea what he was doing) & Patrick attempting to dump the remains of a tree in the desert and getting pulled over by a police officer.
