Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?
The ceremony and reception will both be taking place at the Peosta Community Center in Peosta, Iowa. Address is 7896 Burds Road.
What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
The ceremony will begin at 2:00 pm. If you receive an invitation to the ceremony, please arrive at least 20 minutes ahead of time.
Is there a dress code?
We’d love to see our friends and family dress up with us! We are requesting cocktail attire (semi-formal) for our wedding.
Can I bring a guest/date?
Your invitation will be made out to “Your name & Guest name” if a plus one has been given to you.
Are kids invited?
While we would love to see your kiddos, we decided to keep our ceremony and reception an adult-only event (only exceptions being the little ones in our bridal party/bridal party children/immediate family.) We hope you understand & can enjoy a fun date night!
Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?
We are having an “unplugged” ceremony. This means we are asking all phones and cameras are put away and turned to silent/off during the ceremony. We have hired a photographer to capture one of the most important days of our lives. We’d hate to have a persons phone blocking those moments for our photographer to capture. After the ceremony, please feel free to take all the pics and videos you would like!
What if I don’t RSVP by the deadline?
If we do not receive an RSVP back from you by our deadline October 1st, you will be marked as “not attending.” The reason for this being we must provide accurate guest counts to all of our vendors within a timely manner.
What time should I arrive at the reception?
The reception will begin at 5:00 pm. Please try to arrive by 5:00 pm as we would love for everyone to be there for our big entrance at 5:30 pm.
