Ben and Lexie met in 2008 when they were both in 7th grade at AFC. Lexie can remember that her first class with Ben was Home Ec with Mrs. Burrow. In high school, Lexie often hung out with Ben's sisters, Casey and Laura, and Ben would tag along. Lexie and Ben got to know each other, and come senior year, they walked together for graduation. Ben and Lexie both had crushes on one another, but neither of them made the first move.

Ben and Lexie went to different colleges and saw less of each other. However, December 31, 2015 they saw each other at a New Years Eve party and sparks flew. It was just like old times. Except this time Ben knew that he was going to make the first move!

On April 23, 2016 Ben and Lexie became official and have been together ever since! Ben and his family have taken Lexie on many vacations throughout the years! Ben has taken Lexie to see the beaches in Florida and the mountains of Colorado. After 7 years together, on July 22, 2023, Ben took Lexie to the top of Pikes Peak and asked her to marry him. Of course she said yes!

We cannot wait to celebrate our marriage with all of you!
