One ordinary Thursday evening at Bottoms Up in Jamestown turned into the start of something extraordinary. Lexie was behind the bar, working her way through college, and Dylan was fresh off completing his master’s degree in Crop Physiology.

Somewhere between mixing drinks and playful conversations, sparks quietly began to fly. The two bonded over where they completed their educations, a mutual interest in agriculture, and their time in Alpha Gamma Rho and Sigma Alpha. They shared laughs, exchanged doodles drawn on each other’s arms, and caught themselves stealing more than a few glances. Dylan’s twin brother, Jared, played a key role—gently nudging a nervous Dylan and convincing Lexie to give him her phone number. She did — and the rest, as they say, is history.
