Our story feels like it was meant to be, with the universe quietly nudging us toward each other long before we ever met. We both grew up playing softball and even had plans to play at the same college—ABAC—but life had its own timing. Though I chose a different path, we later realized we had been surrounded by the same people for years. Her friends were my teammates; the same girls I grew up playing softball with. She even lived in the same neighborhood in Jefferson, GA as my grandmother. Looking back, it's almost impossible to believe we didn’t cross paths sooner.

From the moment we finally connected, it felt like we had known each other forever. Over the past two years, our bond has only deepened. She understands me in a way no one ever has and being with her feels like the truest version of home. We’ve laughed endlessly, supported each other through life’s highs and lows, and built a love rooted in shared history and genuine connection.

Then came the proposal—something straight out of a movie. A day in New York City, we rode a horse and carriage through Central Park. We came upon Bow Bridge where she asked me to spend forever with her. Without a doubt, I said yes.

We are so grateful for the way our story has unfolded and can’t wait to begin this next chapter together surrounded by the people who have shaped our lives and cheered us on from the start.
