The Beginning:

Leylan and Stefan are both from Syracuse, NY, but had never met during their childhoods. In 2018, they officially met due to them both being in the wedding party of their two best friends Greg and Jocie Stern's wedding held in Hilton Head, SC. A few months later after returning to New York they reconnected for a first date and the rest was history.

The Middle:

In 2019, they decided to move in together and picked Canandaigua, NY as their place to reside. In 2020, each supported one another and got through Covid as a stronger couple. In 2021. they added their dog, Hussell Thompson, to their family. The three of them enjoy walks on hiking trails, enjoying wineries, and watching TV together (mostly sports).

Forever:

On October 6th, 2023, Stefan and Leylan took the next step in their relationship. Stefan claimed they had to leave 2 hours early to enjoy the outdoor happy hours since it was 70 degrees. They went to Trillium Park and soaked in the amazing view of the Toronto Skyline. Next Stefan surprised Leylan by having a photographer capture the engagement followed by an engagement shoot and a wonderful dinner as a newly engaged couple. The rest of the weekend was a lot of celebrations, delicious food, shopping and seeing Drake and J Cole in concert which was a bucket list item.
