It was a few weeks before Mother's day, and Lia's mom called Lia on her way home from work. She asked Lia what she thought about having Cisco's family over at her house for Mother's day instead of Lia and Cisco travelling to different places. Plus, after 4.5 years, it was time everyone finally got together! Lia told her that she thought it would be great, but she didn't know how Cisco would feel.

Surprisingly, when Lia called Cisco, he approved! Lia was very excited for everyone to finally spend time together. The plan was to all go to Lia's parent's house on the Saturday before Mother's day, 5/9/2015.

When Lia and Cisco showed up at her parent's house, everything seemed normal. Family members started to arrive, and everyone seemed to be having a great time. Cisco then approached Lia and said, "Maybe we should thank everyone for coming." Lia agreed, but she didn't want to be the one to speak. Cisco encouraged her to a least say a little something, so she did. She thanked everyone for coming and being together for Mother's day. During those short few seconds, family members started taking out their phones...Lia knew something was up, but she didn't think he could have surprised /tricked her that well, so she waited it out.

Cisco then elaborated on Lia's speech, which began with loving words regarding his family, then Lia, and ended with him on one knee! Lia cried, of course, and she said yes!

Wedding Party
