We met in 2012 while attending the same college (SUNY Fredonia) for the same majors! We got coffee and hit it off, but didn’t start dating officially until 2013.. when we reconnected at the beginning of the semester.

We graduated college in 2015 and endured long distance for a few months until Matt decided to pick up everything and relocate to Buffalo after getting a job offer- where we lived with my mom for a few months until we could save enough money to move out on our own.

We moved into our first apartment at 22 with a single futon couch, a handful of dishes and barely any money to our name - but we were happy and learned so much about navigating adulthood, paying bills and living on our own in that apartment.

We spent four years in that apartment - making countless memories with our friends, traveling many times together, attending weekly sporting events and building our life.

In 2020 we moved from our first apartment to a much nicer apartment and got our first dog, Ozzy! We navigated through having a puppy and adjusting to life during the pandemic. We hiked, we tried weekly recipes, and spent a whole lot of time outside and with one another!

On a cold winter day in January 2021 (and I mean freezing) Matt convinced me to go skiing for the first time at Kissing Bridge! After hours of Matt trying to teach me how to ski, we rode the ski lift to the top of the mountain (reluctantly as I was terrified) and Matt popped the question on the ski lift of all places!

Fast forward to 2022 and we decided to put off wedding planning and buy our first home! We spent 18 months saving every penny. It was a stressful process and after several tours and offers we found our first home! We’ve been remodeling every inch of the place together ever since- it’s been a learning experience but so fun to do together!

Through all of life’s ups and downs over the past decade together, we have navigated through it all, learning more about one another and growing our love story each day. We look forward to making a lifetime of memories together and continuing to add to our ever growing love story!
