Our journey began at the University of Lethbridge, where we met as students and quickly formed a connection. At 20 years old, our friendship soon blossomed into a relationship that would stand the test of time. After graduating, we made the move back to Calgary and quickly moving in together after Covid, excited to start this next chapter of our lives.

For Vanessa, who admittedly calls herself "snoopy," Liam knew proposing would be tricky. He spent months scheming behind her back, with the pressure mounting to make sure she didn’t find out. With the perfect plan in place (and a little help from the Maid of Honor, Brooklyne, as a decoy), Liam pulled off an unforgettable proposal at the Saskatoon Farm—one of our favorite date spots. The surprise was complete, and the moment was absolutely magical.

After 6 years together, we can't wait to celebrate with all during our big day.
