Cheyenne Mountain Zoo:
Located on the south side of Colorado Springs, this is a fabulous zoo. Advance tickets are required and sometimes sell out on popular days. You can find more info at cmzoo.org
Garden of the Gods Park:
This is an amazing natural wonder of Colorado Springs. You can drive through the park on your own, park at the Visitor Center and use the free shuttle or walk, or sign up for
numerous other ways to explore the beautiful red rock formations of Garden of the Gods. You can find

- Seven Bridges (easy to moderate)
- Mt Cutler (easy)
- Pulpit Rock Trail (easy)
- Eagles Peak (Moderate)
- Stanley Canyon Reservoir (moderate to challenging)
Pikes Peak:
Pikes Peak is the tallest mountain that you can see from the city of Colorado Springs and can be seen almost anywhere in the city. This is one of the most popular attractions that people come to Colorado Springs to see. Pikes Peak is 14,115 feet high and is part of Colorado’s 14ers club. Get to the top by taking a beautiful drive, jumping on the Cog Railway, or joining the 14er Club by taking the hike!
Manitou Springs Penny Arcade:
Located in a cute town called Manitou Springs, a great spot full of arcade games, skeeball, and local shops to wander into. (Bring quarters, not pennies :))
Shopping:
Outlets at Castle Rock – This great shopping location is only about 25 minutes north of Monument, CO.

US Olympic & Paralympic Museum:
The Olympics start on 26 July 2024 in Paris, France. Share in the excitement by visiting the official Olympic Museum. Tickets are required and we suggest you get them in advance. More info is available at usopm.org
US Air Force Academy:
This is a fun place to visit with a Visitor Center explaining the history of the Academy and learning what the cadet experience is like. There is also a Planetarium. Learn more at usafa.edu/facilities
