Now a powerful lawyer, I imagine that his office smells of rich mahogany and is filled with things like hourglasses, globes made of marble, and 1st edition hand-written books. However, I also knew the guy when we were just stealing Magic cards from the store (and selling a lot of them, to be honest... gotta make paper), playing hockey until the sun went down, and then playing man-hunt after that. This is the guy that made up the other part of the Sgrignoli line when we played hockey together. This is the only brother of mine that I've gotten into a fist-fight with (multiple, actually, but a long time ago mang)... and this is the guy that has played a huge part in shaping me into what I am. It is true that parents play a huge part in molding a person, and I've had some of the best. However, I think that the next most important job in a family is that of an older brother. Your parents aren't always there when you're outside with your friends. They're not there with you at school. They can't always come to your rescue when, or if, you get bullied. When light up shoes became flashlights became bike lights became car headlights became lights to our new apartments and homes, there has been a constant person who has shared all of these moments, successes, failures, and memories with me. That person is my older brother. My friend and one of my heroes since my earliest memory. My Best Man.The night Liana got accepted into her residency program at Hershey, I got a phone call from Ricky at around 1230AM. I pick up and he just starts going "Sucka! Liana got into Hershey! This is huge! Well, what are you gonna do? Are you gonna marry her?!" I'm pretty sure I told him a thousand times prior that the plan was always to marry her, but I figured whatever and I told him again that yes, I want to marry her. "Good sucka! You'll never find another girl like that! Alright sucka, I'm out." I didn't think much of it... that's usually how our conversations go and we use the word sucka a lot. I got a phone call from Liana about 30 minutes later, telling me that she got a drunk phone call from Ricky just then, it's obvious that he's really wasted, and that he repeated that we needed to get married. It turns out that she was right and that he was drunk. I had no idea, but people speak the truth when they're drunk. Ricky's right. Suckas need to get married.

She has been my BFF, my Partner in Crime since our college years. We first met at UC Berkeley during our Biology 1A lab class as I had asked her to be my lab partner. We definitely enjoyed our "college experience," but all in all, she has been there through all my ups and downs. We have shared so many life experiences together, graduating college, pursuing our medical careers, both of us moving away from home out of our comfort zone. She is one of the most genuinely kind person I have ever met. I have seen her grow into a beautiful and independent woman and I couldn't be more grateful to have her as my maid of honor

The King of Hand-outs. The dude comes at you harder than Oliver Twist. The guy may ask for 10 bucks, then ask for a 20 spot once he sees you open your wallet and realizes you have more. The only guy I've actually seen do the "pat his chest" thing when you're out for dinner, acting like he's looking for his wallet and then proclaiming that he forgot it... the dude shirt don't even have pockets! How can you possibly be looking for your wallet! The guy that once videotaped himself eating Liana's ice cream, because she hid it in the back of the freezer and he wanted to "teach her a lesson" and show her that we don't have secrets here. He's also the guy that I saw eat green beans, oatmeal, and chicken mixed in the same bowl everyday during high school so he could reach his maximum potential as a wrestler. He's the guy I lived with my 1st 2 years of residency in New York, which were by far the best years I've had there. He was seen as a joker and little of an academic, but now he's doing his thing in med school on his way to becoming a great doctor. He's also a very proud member of our US Army and will serve as a Captain upon graduating from med school. When I look at Bobby and when I walk with him and introduce him to people, it's very hard not to be filled with an overwhelming level of pride. He does joke and he is laid back, but he's also determined as hell and he's a winner. Another one of my heroes. He's the reason I got into lifting weights (and continue to lift weights, because he calls to let you know your body starting to look like hot garbage). He makes me want to become a better doctor and I look forward to seeing what he accomplishes, because I know he will do great things. Whether in a white coat, his Army Uniform, or looking like a bum after eating chinese food on the couch, this is a guy you bet on. I know you'll always be there for me and it's gonna be an honor to have you there next to me on my wedding day. And by the way, you still owe me like... 200 bucks or something

She is my first cousin on my father's side of the family. She is a mother of two adorable and sweet kids and a loving wife. We have shared so many memories during our grade school years, sharing a bunk bed, collecting sailor moon cards, and now she is my go to person when I need skincare advice. She has always been like a big sister to me.

I'm gonna call Willy the Prince of Handouts and not the King, because I think he has graduated from that stage. He's basically a zombie that was cured, because his hands aren't out anymore. Now he's on the other side and is being approached by Oliver Twist all the time... yea, how suckas like it? You like that, sucka? Willy's another guy that is quick to call you to tell you your body look like garbage (he often says it looks like I have "tumors" on the sides of my stomach). However, he will also send you progress pics of himself and I swear he's looked identical since he was about 14 years old. One day I will make a slideshow of 100's of progress pics and will ask someone to put them in order. You can't do it. It's impossible. But then, "at least I don't have tumors next to my abs." He's also probably the only one of us that has a decent pair of legs. Who likes leg day? He was choosing which clothes to wear for an interview and saw that Liana was home. He puts the clothes on, goes in front of Liana, and asks "Hey Liana, how does my ass look in these? Does it pop?" Needless to say, I think he got the job. All thanks to Liana letting him know if his ass pops or not. Earlier this year, I had one of my proudest moments and it really had nothing to do with me. I was able to attend Willy's graduation from Navy Officer Training. Before that day, he had already graduated college, he had drinks (legally), he was doing a bunch of other things to show you that he was essentially an adult. However, I think we always look at our youngest sibling like they are forever 12 years old.During the Navy graduation, they invite the families to go to the front of the stage to see the graduates while they stand at attention. When I saw Willy in full uniform and at attention, that was the moment where I realized he wasn't my 12 year old brother anymore. He has become a really great man and he is also one of my heroes (I think people can probably see a recurring theme here). It will be a huge honor to have him standing next to me at my wedding. Now getting his doctorate in Physical Therapy at the Navy's program at Baylor University, I know he's destined to do tremendous things... I also know that he must finally be getting a paycheck, because those phone calls have stopped HEEEEEE SUCKAAAAA!!
