Our Story

Our Love Story

Our story began on the 25th July, 2007 when we attended the Maid of Honour's 18th Birthday Party. This was the first time we met and a few months after we both coincidentally started Law School together at K. Beckles & Associates. We became good friends and frequently hung out at places such as Zen, 51 Degrees, just to name a few, as we hung out with the same social circles. However, Graeme migrated to Canada a year later to pursue a degree in Marketing and we lost touch thereafter until 2019. On the 5th October, 2019, Graeme and I attended an event " Soleil" at Bungalow not knowing both of us would be there. We chatted a bit at the event and reconnected on many memories eventually where he gave me his number and the rest is history...

Kezia Redhead - Maid of Honour

Kezia and Lianne have quite literally been friends forever. They were neighbours growing up, attended the same primary school and later both pursued careers as attorneys, going on to work at the Ministry of the Attorney General together. They share a passion for travel and good food. Lianne’s tenacity for life, resilience and kind heart make her easy to love. To top it all off, she’s one of Kezia’s funniest friends. The journey is far from over but we’ll save the rest for the speech!

Dr. Karima Pragg Pinheiro - Bridesmaid

I am Karima Pragg and I first met Lianne in 2004. She lent me her Geography textbook during lessons class at Fatima when she heard me behind her struggling to find the answers in mine lol. As fate would have it, we both started Form 6 at St Francois Girls’ College the next year where she quickly became my best friend. Since leaving school, I discovered my love for fitness and begin every day at the gym. Our Sociology study sessions paid off because I now hold my PhD in that discipline and teach it at the secondary and tertiary levels.

Hi, I’m Lei, yes, one of the other Lees’ Lianne and I go way back to our early teenage years hopping drops together to Movie Towne limes and all sorts of parties. From carefree childhood days to heartfelt grown-up talks, she’s always been a true lifelong friend. Even after I left Trinidad, our bond never faded- so much so that my hubby and her share the same birthday. A little about me? I love futbol & aviation (Airbus forever!). I am so honored to be standing by her side for this new journey, as wifey for lifey!

Siana Chin Lee - Bridesmaid

I've known Lianne for about five years, and in that time, we've shared some amazing adventures—from Paris to Miami. Lianne is genuinely one of the kindest and sweetest people I know. Her kindness extends not just to me but also to my son, Alexander, which means the world to me. She has the most incredible fashion sense—always the best dressed in any room! A little about me: I love to travel, explore new restaurants, and enjoy great food. I live for experiences, shopping, and simply embracing life to the fullest!

I’m Laurissa — Corporate Attorney by day, wife and boy/toddler mom by night (and also by day… let’s be real). I’m a health enthusiast through and through: you’ll find me in the kitchen experimenting with “healthy-ish” recipes (my family are my mostly willing taste-testers) while also trying to keep my whole troop of houseplants alive. In my spare time, I’m either traveling to exciting new places, unwinding with a good book and a lit candle, or laughing over cocktails (or smoothies!) with friends and family. Lianne and I met over 20 years ago during Fatima lessons, bonding over some relationship tea. People always thought we were sisters, and honestly, we kind of were: matching styles, matching humour, and spending nearly every weekend together as teens.

Lianne and I go way back to our modeling days with Mystique and from then to now, she’s always been one of the most genuine and sweet souls I know. Sadie met Lianne early in secondary school, Lianne’s effervescent personality quickly made her one of Sadie’s favorite people and closest friends. From adolescence to adulthood they have shared some of the most amazing memories and have seen each other through many of life’s most important moments. Well you know what they say opposites attract. Lianne “the fanciest of them all” and Shaia “the simplest of them all” have been friends for over 20+ years. (Wait does that make us sound old?) Lianne and Shaia have been through it all, the Mayfairs, the house parties, the weddings, the babyshowers and the babies (my kids thoroughly admire her). Over the years of knowing this gentleman, there were a few stand out things about him….other than his passion for fashion and his love for David and I driving us all around…They are, his commitment to those he cares for and his drive to be all he can in his career and to/for his Fiance. From clubbing in Senses, Zen, Chaconia & Shade to hitting Maracas beach RIGHT AFTER…I’d say we made memories to last lifetimes, and also planted a seed that not only has withstood the test of time but the challenges of distance and differences in opinion.
