Through Happenstance, Devin and Libby met at Lobster Fest in June 2014. After finishing her first year of teaching, Libby was ready for a break, and in turn, Devin was finishing his first year of his apprenticeship. A last minute decision to sneak in to see his roommates' band (and now our justice of the peace), led them both to fate. At first Libby was apprehensive about the age gap however; Devin's dancing skills and charm quickly lowered her defenses. A few dates turned into a summer long distance relationship. Their love grew and flourished, and led to Devin proposing on October 29, 2017. They look forward to celebrating their day with family and friends.
