The moment I walked into my first shift at Sahm’s Tavern, I had one thing on my mind—finding my brother, who was our manager. But apparently, the moment Tommy saw me, he had something else in mind—his future wife. (His words, not mine! 😉)I’ll admit, I thought he was cute, but I could tell right away he was a little too ornery for his own good. We became fast friends, sharing breakfasts and plenty of laughs—mostly Tommy’s attempts at flirting while I played it cool.Fast forward a couple of years, and Tommy finally made his move, inviting me to a wedding. We had an absolute blast, and from that night on, I became his built-in wedding date. After a particularly fun night at his best friend’s wedding—where everyone was asking why we weren’t together—Tommy finally got the hint and asked me out. And from that moment on, we’ve been pretty much inseparable.Since then, we’ve built a beautiful life together—creating a home, raising our sweet pup, and welcoming our baby girl, Millie. Now, we’re beyond excited to make it official and celebrate this next chapter with all the people we love most!

There will be a shuttle to take guests from the hotel to the venue and it will also take you back to your hotel at the end of the night!

Pokagon is a great place to stay if you have a camper or an RV! It is on beautiful Lake James where you can have fun on the lake and on the beach.

Pokagan State Park 

There are several lakes around the area that have airbnb houses for a more intimate stay . Check out lakes such as Lake George, Lake James, Crooked Lake, Clear Lake , Jimmerson Lake, crooked lake , and many more! This is a great option if you would like to make our wedding into a little vacation getaway!
