Miles and Libby’s story began at the end of 8th grade when Libby moved to Friendswood. She introduced herself, and, being a bit of a socially awkward kid, Miles forgot to introduce himself back. It wasn’t the smoothest start, but fate had more in store for them. Throughout high school, they found themselves in several classes together, and over the years, they grew from acquaintances into good friends. During senior year, Libby's brother convinced Miles to join the debate team, but in true fashion, he ditched him soon after. What Miles didn’t know was that Libby was one of the team captains, and through their shared experience in debate, they became inseparable. They spent countless hours together at tournaments, in between classes, and during lunch breaks—always by each other's side. By the end of senior year, their friendship had deepened into something more. In March 2017, they officially began dating. At first, both of them believed their relationship was destined to last only until the end of summer—Libby was headed to New York University, and Miles was going to Colorado School of Mines. But as the months went by, their feelings grew stronger, and the question kept nagging at them: Can we really let this end? The thought of parting ways was unbearable, and they realized that breaking up was not an option. So, they decided to try long distance, navigating their relationship through four years of college by visiting each other during holidays and long weekends, and staying connected through Skype and FaceTime. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Libby found herself growing tired of the chaos of city life and longed for a change. She needed more nature, more space—so she made the decision to join Miles in Denver while she attended law school. It was a big move, but it was the one that finally brought them together after years of being apart. At the end of Libby's first year of law school, she and Miles took the leap and officially moved in together. Their bond was stronger than ever, and in September 2023, during a trip to Germany, Miles proposed. Since then, they’ve been living their dream life together, with their two beloved fur babies by their side, navigating the joys and challenges of life as a couple. Through every step of their journey, they've proven that sometimes, the best relationships are the ones that are worth fighting for.

Nate is my brother—my best friend, occasional tormentor, and forever sidekick. He’s been stuck with me since day one, and I could not ask for a better brother. Nate and Miles have also been close friends since middle school which makes today even more special. I’m beyond lucky to have him by my side—not just as my Man of Honor, but as someone who holds such a special place in my heart and has always been there for me.

Dani and I met in law school, where we spent countless hours together, diving into deep conversations that shaped our friendship. She’s one of the smartest and kindest people I know, with a heart that truly cares for everyone around her! Dani is the ultimate cheerleader, and I feel so lucky to have her standing by my side on this special day.

Syeda and I have been best friends since sophomore year of college, sharing countless late nights and plenty of meals—especially onigiri balls, which became our little tradition. She’s the person you go to whether times are good or bad because she has this amazing way of making you feel completely comfortable and understood. She’s one of the kindest, smartest, and most incredible people I’ve ever met, and I’m so lucky to have her by my side on this special day.

Molly and I have been best friends since sophomore year of college, and we were roommates for over a year. From late nights cooking and watching shows to laughing until our sides hurt and sharing unforgettable nights out, she’s been such a joyful and loving presence in my life. Not only is she one of the most fun people I know, but she’s also an incredibly talented chef. I’m truly grateful to have her by my side on this special day.

Courtney, my sister-in-law and dear friend, has been such a wonderful part of my life! We’ve shared so many fun moments and laughs together, and she’s truly one of the kindest people I’ve ever met (especially considering she puts up with my brother on a daily basis). Garden of the Gods is a free and accessible way to see the beauty of Colorado. Take a paved walking path through rare and breathtaking rock formations. Good for all ages and abilities, 15 minute drive from the hotel.

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo offers views of the city and of its hundreds of animals. The unique design of the Zoo's animal exhibits gets guests closer than ever before. Hand-feed one of the largest reticulated giraffe herds in the world, watch grizzlies swim with trout, hop next to red-necked wallabies, waddle alongside African penguins and get hands-on with some of the Zoo's smaller residents in The Loft. Good for all ages, 15 minute drive from the hotel.

The US Olympic and Paralympic Museum is a tribute to the Olympic and Paralympic movements with Team USA athletes at the center of the experience. The 60,000 square foot museum is located at the base of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado Springs, home of the United States Olympic Training Center. The museum will act as an anchor for the new City for Champions District, forming a new axis bridging downtown Colorado Springs to the America the Beautiful Park to the west.
