We hope this page gives you everything you need, we know you would be making a long trip to join us on our celebrations so we want to create the best experience for you all. Our Wedding

Everything began for us heremet hostel in mad monkey Siem RiepVolunteering Koh Rong Island 6 weeksWe made friends like family at the hostel and have been back every year this year went back and got engagedsafe to say its our favourite place and cant wait to share it with you all!travelling has been a massive part of both our lives before we even met, since 2 years of being together weve been in 5 courntries together, the wedding is our next huge adventure and we hope you can come and make an adventure Our story began in Cambodia's second largest city, Siem Reap. Tom was 2 months into a South East Asia trip with two of his best mates, Phil and Ethan. Libby had been travelling solo (legend) for ... and had unknowingly booked into the same hostel dorm room as her future Fiancee to be. We soon discovered that we were on the same travel path, with Koh Rong being the next stop on both our itineraries. We travelled overnight and made it to Koh Rong. We didn't know it then, but we would return to this little slice of paradise each of the next two years, get engaged, as well has host our wedding there. It is safe to say that this place means the world to us, and we are so excited to share with you what this remote little Island, located 16km off mainland Cambodia off The Gulf of Thailand has to offer.

Our Story

🌅 Wedding Week PlansWe’re so excited to have you with us in Cambodia — not just for the big day, but to create so many memories together, really once in a lifetime! We are so grateful you are considering coming to celebrate our wedding with us so only naturally we lined up all the best things we could!We anticipate / recommend people to stay minimum of 4/5 nights, as you will have travelled far and gives you a chance to relax and soak it all in!🍹 Welcome Drinks + Sunset BBQWe’ll kick things off with welcome drinks at the venue, followed by a sunset BBQ — the perfect time to relax, catch up, and snap a few golden-hour pics together.💍 The CeremonyThe wedding ceremony will take place at our beautiful venue on the island.As expected there will be speeches and food served.Afterwards, we’ll head back to Nest Beach Club to carry on the party under the stars. Expect good music, better company, and maybe a surprise or two…🏝️ A Day to RechargeAssuming that we will be celebrating hard, we are thinking we may ass a day off here for you to time to chill, explore, or recover on the beach after a big 2 days! So the following day you would be ready to..🚤 Island AdventuresWe’ll be chartering private boat/boats for a day:Ocean fishingStopping at quiet, hidden beaches on the neighbouring island Koh Rong Samloem Catching the sunset on the water Swimming with glowing bioluminescent plankton. We've done this day a few times and it is always the best day out!

Our 3 Day Wedding Plan 

Accommodation Options&nbsp;🏝️Whether you’re looking for budget-friendly dorms or luxury resorts, there are plenty of places to stay near our wedding venue on&nbsp;Longset Beach&nbsp;and beyond. We’ve either stayed at these places ourselves or had a good look around, so we can personally recommend them. Tuk tuks available at any time of night to take you wherever you are staying! Longset Beach – Main Beach AreaLongset Beach is where you’ll find most of the island’s bars, food shacks and including our venue. It’s the perfect location, with the boat dropping you at the pier nearby. From the venue, a 16-minute jungle path walk will take you to the main town for even more dining and nightlife options.Below are some accommodation options to suit everyone.

Highlights: Right next to the venue, run by lovely owners we know personally. Cute cabins set along a jungle path (close the door… monkeys might pop by!). Due for renovations in low season, so it’ll be fresh and ready for your stay.

Treehouse BungalowsLocation: Longset BeachDistance to Venue: Short walkPrice Range: $$ – mid-range. Treehouse Bungalows — treetop bungalows, swim-up barEstimate: US$40–US$120 / £30–£90 per room / night (standard bungalow → nicer sea-view rooms).Highlights: Unique treetop accommodation with a new pool and swim-up bar. More rustic and dated than others, but full of charm and character.

Golden Beach ResortLocation: Sunset Beach Distance to Venue: 20-minute tuk tuk ride Price Range: $$ – mid-range. quiet, great pool &amp; pizzaEstimate: US$80–US$200 / £60–£150 per room / night (depends on room type and sea-access rooms). Highlights: Gorgeous pool, wood-fired pizzas, fantastic service, and its own sea access. Located in a less touristy area with a more local feel.

🌴 Welcome to Koh Rong Island It’s been over two years since we first visited Koh Rong, and the island has already come a long way. Back then, it was mostly running off a single generator from the mainland — now there’s proper power, more places to stay, and easier ways to get around.There’s one main road that loops around the island, and getting from place to place is simple with local tuk tuks. The wedding venue will take place on Long Set Beach, where we recommend you to be staying, has everything you’ll need: comfortable resorts, beach bars, pizza shacks, calm water, and plenty of spots to chill out. You can walk almost everywhere, and things move at a nice, island pace! Since our first visit 2 years ago, we have seen a lot of changes and development — new resorts and accommodation, better transport, and more food options. As happens on a beautiful island everywhere in the world, there are going to be even more rapid developments over the next 2 years before the wedding! New roads and even an airport planned to open in the next 10 years is in the works.While things are changing, the island still has a laid-back charm that we really love. We feel incredibly lucky to be celebrating here at this moment in time — while it still feels special and a little off the beaten path, but with enough comfort to make it easy for everyone to enjoy. We can’t wait to share it with you!Things to do🐚 Things to Do on Koh RongThere’s no pressure to do anything on Koh Rong — but if you’re keen to explore, the island has plenty of ways to fill your days between swims and sunset cocktails. 🐠 Snorkelling or Island HoppingSwim with Bioluminescent PlanktonExpect tropical fish, coral, and a fun day out on the water. Some tours also stop at nearby islands. On dark nights, the water around the island glows with natural bioluminescent plankton — little sparkles of light that swirl around you as you move. We plan to see this on our chartered boat trip day! 🛶 Hire a Kayak or CanoeExplore the calm coastline by kayak or canoe. Paddle out, and you may spot tiny fish jumping out the water! 🍹 Visit Beach BarsLong Set and nearby beaches have a handful of great beach bars — perfect for a lazy afternoon drink, sunset happy hour, or a quiet evening under the stars. Most are just a short walk down the beach. 🏖️ Discover Other BeachesIf you feel like a bit of adventure, take a tuk tuk or drive to visit nearby beaches like Coconut Beach, Sok San Beach, or Lonely Beach. Classes are hands-on, fun, and a great way to taste more of the local flavours — plus you get to eat what you make!🛖 Visit a Local VillageTake a guided trip to one of the nearby Cambodian villages on the island. It’s a chance to see how people live, learn about daily life. The pace is slow and welcoming — often lots of kids playing.🧘‍♀️ Relax, Read, RepeatOf course, one of the best things to do is&nbsp;nothing at all. Bring a good book, float in the water, or take a nap in a hammock — that’s the real island life.
