Our Wedding

Sam and Liberty met when Liberty started attending Northumberland Christian School September of 2021. They had math, history, and Bible class together, and Liberty became friends with Sam’s sister Emily, but that was about the extent of their relationship.   Toward the end of 2022, Sam began to notice Liberty. He felt the Lord calling him to pursue her, so he decided that, when they got back from Christmas break, he would talk to her.   On January 19, 2023 he asked for her number after a basketball game (and was so excited he proceeded to hit a mailbox on the drive home). She had no idea he was interested, and was completely baffled. She left for a winter Bible camp the next morning, and at the end of the weekend she got her phone back, and they texted for the rest of the evening.   Between Liberty’s mom replacing Sam’s phone screen, many dinners spent at each other’s houses, and talking about values and goals together, they decided they wanted to date. So with her dad’s permission, on March 18, 2023 Sam asked Liberty to be his girlfriend.   A little over 2 years later, on May 29, 2025, he popped the question... and she said yes!! :) The Lord has done so much work in their hearts and relationship, and He’s brought them through many trials. If it weren’t for Him, they wouldn’t be here. All the glory goes to Him!   Sam and Liberty would greatly appreciate your prayers for wisdom and growth as they plan to be married May 30th, 2026!
