Tyler and Lila first met while attending Liberty High School after Tyler moved to Powell from New Jersey sophomore year. They shared a number of friends, so they saw each other somewhat frequently, but never progressed past friends. Fast forward to freshman year of college and as luck would have it, one of Lila's best friends was attending Ohio University with Tyler. At the same time, Lila was quickly becoming good friends with Tyler's best friend who was attending Ohio State University with her. The four friends found themselves spending a lot of time together, and sparks started flying between Tyler and Lila from there!

Lila and Tyler made it official at the end of freshman year and were inseparable from there on out (much to their friends' annoyance!) The rest was history! Then, eight years later, Tyler popped the question on a ski trip in Holiday Valley with a group of close friends. And duh--she said yes!
