Yes! As a thank you for traveling to Europe for our special day, your accommodation is free to utilize for the entire week (Sept 10th-17th). Outside of pre-determined wedding festivities the bride and groom and their families will be lounging by the pool, eating in the garden, visiting wineries, golfing, and checking out local hikes and villages.

We have booked our venue, Chateau LA Commanderie for the week of September 10th through September 17th. The venue comfortably sleeps our entire party. We understand that many of you will likely plan a general vacation during this time. While our immediate family will stay at Chateau LA Commanderie for the entire week, guests can come and go as they please, attending the wedding festivities of course!

We have booked both the main castle (sleeps 21) and the guest cottage (sleeps 8). We have pre-determined bedroom assignments to ensure each guest has their own room. Should you have special accommodation needs please contact us. If accommodations are not to your preference there are several hotels in the area you can opt to stay at.

Hiking, wine tasting, and touring local medieval villages are all on the agenda should you decide to stay the week.

Yes. Children are more than welcome to come. However, the bride and groom will not be responsible for childcare related accommodations (cribs, childcare etc). Please plan accordingly. If you need additional resources we can inquire with our concierge.
