Ceremony - Palm Beach Pathway
Attire: Beach Formal
For a beach formal wedding, you’ll want to balance elegance with the relaxed vibe of the beach. It’s a more polished look than casual beach attire, but still not as stuffy as a traditional indoor formal wedding. Here’s a breakdown:
For Women:
Dresses: A mid-length or floor-length gown can still be appropriate for a formal beach wedding, but look for something light and breezy in fabric—like chiffon, silk, or satin. Opt for elegant but not heavy textures, and stick with classic colors (think soft pastels like pinks or lavenders, earthy tones (like terracotta or sandy brown), or elegant neutrals.
Footwear: While stilettos can be hard to pull off on sand, you could still wear heeled sandals, wedges, or a stylish block heel that’s beach-friendly. Some people may opt in to be barefoot :)
For Men:
Suits: A light-colored linen or cotton suit is a great choice. Think pale gray, beige, light blue, or even a muted pastel. These fabrics are breathable and look polished without being too heavy or formal. A crisp button-up shirt is essential—opt for a light color like white, ivory, or a soft pastel. If you prefer darker colored suits/blazers like Navy, that's perfectly ok too.
Footwear: Go with leather loafers or any neutral toned beach shoe.
Ties: A tie is always optional for a beach wedding, however, can still work if you prefer to wear one. A relaxed, skinny tie or a bow tie could also be a stylish option. If you're not sure, you can always ask the couple!
