Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?
Either method of RSVP will work fine. Please do whichever works best for you. You don't need to mail an RSVP card if you RSVP online.
What date should I RSVP by?
Please RSVP by April 30, 2024. This will allow us to order enough food for the reception.

What airport should I fly into?
The closest and best airport to fly into is Ted Stevens International Airport in Anchorage, Alaska.
How do I get from the airport to the wedding venue?

Where should I reserve accomodations?
The closest place to stay would be in Palmer, Alaska; Wasilla, Alaska; or near Hatcher's Pass, Alaska. There are several suggestions for accommodations on the travel page of this website.

What transportation is available to get to the wedding?
The best option is to drive (rent a car). There are not good public transportation options.
Where do I park?
There are plenty of parking spaces available in the Government Peak Chalet Parking Lot.
What to Wear
Is there a dress code?
We ask that you wear semi-formal attire.
May we suggest the following attire:
Men: Light dress shirt with slacks; jackets and ties optional
Women: Dress or dressy separates; flats or wedge heels for the outdoor ceremony on the lawn.
Please avoid jeans and flannels.
What is the weather like in the area?
Temperatures in May could be in the upper 40's up to the 60's. Light rain is possible.
Additional Guests
Can I bring a guest?
If your wedding invitation envelope indicated "and guest" please feel free to bring a guest. (This will also be indicated when you RSVP on the website.) Due to space limitations, we cannot accommodate extra guests beyond what was listed on the invitation envelope. Thank you for understanding.
May I bring my children to the wedding and reception?
We love children, but we are very sorry, due to space restraints, we are unable to extend the invitation to children under the age of 16. We hope you understand and can still join us on our special day.
Wedding and Reception Details
Is the wedding indoor or outdoor?
The wedding ceremony will be outdoors on the lawn. The reception will be indoors following the ceremony.
Reception Menu
We will be serving light appetizers followed by a sit-down dinner with a selection of meat, pasta, potato, salad, and bread.
There may be limited options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies.
What time should I arrive?
The wedding ceremony will begin at 3:00 PM. It would be wise to arrive 15 minutes before to find a place to park and find a place to sit.
Will there be a gap between the ceremony and reception?
There will be a short gap between the ceremony and reception while the wedding party gets their pictures taken. Light appetizers will be served and lawn and table games will be available.
Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
We ask that you don't take pictures during the ceremony. However, please do take photos during the reception (and share them with us).
