Our Wedding

It all began when they met at Highlands High School when Lillian, a sophomore at the time, fell for the senior with a funny demeanor. Nolan and Lillian began to talk more after he made the first move when giving her a ride home. She later discovered they lived on the same street and as the two spent more time together they decided to make it official! Nolan graduated high school and stayed home to pursue trade as an electrician. Two short years later, Lillian graduated high school and went on to the University of Kentucky which meant a semi-long-distance relationship. Many days were spent missing each other and using the breaks between semesters to catch up on all the time spent apart. Finally in May 2025, Lillian graduated from UK and they began preparing for the move to Charleston, South Carolina. On a weekend trip to tour apartments in the area, Nolan surprised Lillian as she walked around a corner at Hampton Park, having no idea he was there. Sobs began immediately as Nolan took her hand and explained that he loved her so much and wanted them to have their own place in Charleston that would forever be theirs. So with that, he got on one knee and asked her to marry him. After taking some time to think about it (JUST KIDDING I HAD BEEN WAITING FOR THIS DAY TO COME), she said yes! The couple now share an address in a new city they love after years apart and cannot wait to nurture their love through all of the beautiful traditions, trials, and tribulations that life has to offer!

Women may wear tea-length, knee-legth, or midi dresses or pantsuits. Men may wear a suit and tie or dress shirts and slacks, optional tie. please refrain from wearing any whites, ivories, or creams.

If you are thinking about flying instead of driving, Breeze and Allegiant often have affordable, direct flights from CVG (Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport) to CHS (Charleston International Airport). However, feel free to use your preferred airline.

The venue is in Upper Mount Pleasant (3535 Wando Plantation Way Mount Pleasant, SC 29466) so we suggest staying in Mount Pleasant!
