Our Wedding

We highly encourage you to stay a week with us to celebrate our marriage. We will be staying October 6th-12th.&nbsp;

Elbow Cay is only a five-mile-long&nbsp;cay&nbsp;but when booking a place to stay, keep in mind that everything will be taking place at the northern end of the island.

Golf carts, bikes, or walking is the only way around the island.

Golf carts, houses, and hotels book up quickly. Be sure to book as early as possible. More information on this is listed under 'things to do'.

There is no ATM or bank on the island; so be sure to bring a little cash with you. The Bahamas accepts the US dollar so there is no need for a currency exchange. All businesses take Visa and MasterCard. American Express is rarely accepted.

Need to Know

The Abaco chain of islands is located approximately 175 miles east of Florida and 100 miles north of Nassau. The main airport on Great Abaco is Marsh Harbour International Airport (MHH). Major airlines connect the Bahamas with the United States.

After you arrive at the Marsh Harbour International Airport (MHH), a short 15-minute taxi ride will bring you directly to G &amp; L Ferry Services (was Albury’s Ferry). Be sure to tell your airport taxi driver and ferry that you are going to Hope Town/Elbow Cay. The ferry ride is $15 per person. They leave approximately every hour and stop running for the day around 5-6PM. The Hope Town ferry runs depart from and arrive at The Crossing in Marsh Harbour.
