Lillian and Ethan met on college spring break at Panama City Beach in March of 2020 -- right before the world shut down. Lillian was at the beach with a group of friends from her sorority. Ethan was there with a group of friends from his freshman dorm.

Being the only two single men on their trip, Ethan and his friend decided to throw the football around. As Ethan claims, his friend kept "intentionally" dropping the ball close to Lillian's friends until it was finally close enough to be able to approach.

Upon approach, the boys made small talk and eventually asked Lillian and her friends to hang out later that night at the hot tub. Ethan exchanged numbers with one of Lillian's friends and said they would connect.

Ethan made contact shortly after the interaction and came over to hang out and play games with Lillian and all her friends that night. From then onwards, the two of them had an instant connection. Lillian's friends began to refer to Ethan as her "spring break boyfriend" and joked that they were attached at the hip all week. Ethan came on walks with them, hung out at their condo, sat with them on the beach for hours... and was always next to Lillian.

Eventually he asked for Lillian's contact information and asker her to go on a coffee date when they went back to campus.... But as we know how 2020 went, they never went back. Several months later, after hours and hours of facetime calls throughout quarantine, they finally went on that coffee date.

And the rest was history...
