It all started with Lillian traveling with her mother and sister on a girl's trip to Charleston in March of 2024. One special night, the three were looking for a restaurant that served crab legs for dinner. Angel was supposed to be off that night but ended up taking a shift at The Crab House on Market Street. Lillian, her mom, and sister had planned on eating at a different restaurant but on their way, stumbled into Angel's restaurant. It so happened that Lillian and her family were seated at Angel's table around 7pm. The moment they met, a glistening and instant connection occurred. The table experience was full of fun energy and laughter. At one point Angel jokingly said, “I’m going to marry your daughter,” to Lillian's mother. Dinner ended and Lillian asked for Angel’s number. Lillian called him at 5 am the next day and they talked for 5 hours. An inseparable connection was there and they both knew it from that start. Events transpired and quickly shifted to a 5th gear speed. Angel asked to marry Lillian on May 30th! Angel simply said, “Let’s figure it out together! Will you marry me?” Angel knew from the moment he met Lillian that he wanted to make it work and so did Lillian! Their instant connection and determination to support each other has gotten them through the tough times. No matter what situations they have faced, they have always been there for each other. Lillian and Angel now have a lovely little family of 5 living in Charleston, SC. This includes their sassy house panther, Ollie (pound for pound most ferocious predator), Lila, their newest kitty addition, and their petite tiny and small puppy, Smokey. Their story is dynamic, resilient, and genuine, embodying the love they have for one another.
