Eventually, we found a condo and moved into our first place together. We loved the area, the space, and finally just being able to be together after doing distance for so long! The place was cozy and home-y - Lily covered it in sunflowers and Danny decked out the basement in all things sports, but it never felt quite 'complete'. We both grew up with dogs in the house always - so coming home always felt a little different without a furry friend wagging their tail to say hello!

Until that Christmas.... Danny bought Lily a dog for her Christmas gift ... the infamous Maisie! Lily is quite hard to surprise, so this was one of the first big surprises that Danny pulled off for her when she came home from a late day at work.

**Let it also be noted... Danny had always claimed since he met Lily that "he would NEVER own a little dog" **

Maisie quickly became an irreplaceable piece of us and our new family of three. She is a perfect mix of sassy, fluffy, crazy, and cuddly but such an amazing girl. She definitely has stolen our hearts and she has become such an important part of our lives.
