Our first date was to Little Rocket resturant May 18, 2015. From then on we began hanging out and getting to know one another. We started dating in August of 2015. As the months went by we found we had a lot in common. We even planted our first garden together in the spring of 2016. On Father's Day Lee and I were tending to our garden. I was several rows over from Lee when he called me over to check out the cucumber row (right beside our beautiful sunflowers). When I started down the row Lee was down on his knee with his head in a cucumber plant. As I walked up beside him wondering what could be so special about a regular 'ol cucumber he turned towards me holding a beautiful diamond ring. Needless to say I said yes. We enjoyed gardening together that first summer. How perfect for him to ask me to marry him next to the beautiful sunflowers.

It has been a busy year. Since Lee and I both owned our own homes, I sold my house this spring. In combining our households we quickly learned we had a lot of stuff; practically two of everything! Our plans now are to renovate our home and we have several projects on our list. That's why we are not registering but requesting instead Lowes Gift cards.
