Hayden and I are sitting here writing this in Baltimore Maryland by the Harbor where we first realized that we were meant to be together forever.

I first met Hayden on the Price front porch. I had a weird feeling in that moment, that there was something special about this guy. Little did I know, fast forward months later I would be engaged to him. It’s crazy how God works. It all started with a pen and a piece of paper. I sent Hayden a card when he was off at Basic Training. Just wishing him good luck and letting him know that he was in my prayers. I never in a million years could have dreamed that that one card that I sent, would lead to where we are today. I’m so thankful that I was able to get to know Hayden’s heart through writing for a few months. Writing then turned into hours of FaceTime calls. After getting to know each other’s hearts, I was finally able to go on my dream first date where Hayden was starting his new career. After a fun filled weekend, we went up to Baltimore before we said our goodbyes to reflect on an awesome weekend. We both knew that what we had was special and that we both had never felt this way before. We both prayed for true love our whole life and it was in that moment that we realized the Lord had answered that prayer.

I first met Lillie on the price family front porch. Never in that moment did I imagine we would be where we are today. But.. here we are! I remember the night I got the first card Lillie sent. Filled with excitement, I couldn’t wait to write her back. I remember that night, sitting by my wall locker praying for us. I wrote in my journal asking God that if she was the one, let it be known, and it was made known! Over the next few months I waited anxiously for every letter she sent me. Due to certain circumstances, I was sent only 249 miles away (with a 250 mile radius) from my future wife and the love of my life. Over the past few months I have had the privilege of falling in love with Lillie more and more everyday. I always thought people were crazy when they said they “found the one”. Well, I know in Lillie I have found the one. This is just the beginning of our life long story.
