Our Wedding

Our story actually begins in July 2023 when we first matched on the beloved dating app Hinge. (For anyone still struggling to find love, we highly recommend Hinge for obvious reasons). Garrett had just been offered a position at Eldorado Country Club in Indian Wells California whilst working in New Zealand so he decided to scout the area. We had talked for a few days, but due to the lengthy response times from Garrett, Lilly decided he was not interested and continued on. A few months go by and Garrett and Lilly again see each other's profiles ... weird. Lilly was under the impression that Garrett unmatched her and was curious as to why he was back so there was yet another exchange. After talking for a day the conversation came to yet another unfortunate end. Fast forward to January of 2024, the profile makes yet another appearance. This time Lilly decided to make to move and ask Garrett to go out and finally meet - can't stay on the apps forever! After talking via text for a while Garrett and Lilly discovered that they were going to both be at a Firebirds hockey game... Lilly thought it would be fun to meet and say hi before the date the next day, however, Garrett thought that it could ruin the anticipation that had been building. So we just stared at each other from across the ice. Very romantic :). The next day we finally take things outside the app and have our first date at Eureka, where we sat and talked for nearly 5 hours. While we were sitting and talking Garrett mentioned that he had tickets to a golf tournament and asked if Lilly wanted to join him. Considering the date was going so well Lilly said yes. After the first date Garrett and Lilly knew there was never going to be a moment apart from each other and have been inseparable since. After a year of dating Garrett finally got the nerve to ask for Lillys hand in marriage. Since January 2024 Garrett and Lilly have created many special moments and memories with each other, including some of our favorites being our first trip to San Diego for Garretts 26th birthday, a trip to Lillys hometown - St. Louis, and the Mt Joy concert in Los Angeles. We are so excited to have all of the people that are close to us and that mean so much to both of us at such a special day to celebrate the love we have grown together.

Terra is Garrett’s older sister and one of his best friends. She’s someone who always has Garrett’s back and is there when he needs her. Terra always makes sure the little things are in place and cares deeply for her family. She is honoured to be Garrett’s Best Woman and support her brother on such a special day.

Haley is the younger sister of Garrett and one of his bestfriends. Haley is someone that strives to keep her siblings in check and bring the energy to any atmosphere she enters. Haley currently resides in Prince George, British Columbia and is studying at UNBC to become a doctor.

Harmony Trax has been one of my best friends since sophomore year of high school. After playing tennis in both high school and college together Harmony has been such an integral part of my life. Harmony is the reason that I moved to California and started a new chapter in life. She is one of the most caring and kindest people that could come into anyones story and I am very excited to have her by her side for such a special moment!

Maria Brown was probably one of the first friends I ever made. After sitting on the bus since 5th grade we have been laughing through all the hard times. Even being thousands of miles apart after graduation we have still remained best friends. Maria is one of the funniest and kindest souls I know and I cant wait to have her next to me on the special day!
